Bodco Dairy is a rapidly growing manufacturer of dairy nutritional products based at Pukete, Hamilton.

We are looking for someone who is driven and eager to develop their career.

Working closely with the Quality Lead, you will be proactive, assertive and have the knowledge to deliver outstanding performance.

This position is responsible for a variety of quality assurance and control functions including:

• Releasing raw materials and finished goods

• Collection and preparation of laboratory test samples

• Reviewing batch records and laboratory results

• Updating product summary specification sheets

• Participating in quality audits

• Investigating customer complaints, non-conformances and audit finding results

• Initiating exception reports

• Assist in training functions

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System

• Provide QA support and guidance to all departments

To be successful, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Food Technology. Coupled with solid QA experience within the dairy or food industry, would be a nice to have

• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin

We also expect our candidates to possess some of the additional qualities that are essential for this role:

• Experience in Dairy Processing, ideally in infant formula, with a strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, Halal and MPI notices and standards

• Previous experience in the management of NCR's

• Previous experience in the raising of Edec's

• Pathogen management experience

• Strong problem-solving ability and initiative

• The ability to be agile and adaptable

• Ability to work at a fast pace
