Content Marketing Specialist

We're seeking a talented Content Marketing Specialist to join APLYiD's growing marketing team. You'll be responsible for creating and executing content strategies that drive organic acquisition and support our self-serve product adoption. This role is crucial in establishing APLYiD as a thought leader in the KYC/AML space and supporting our product-led growth initiatives.

The Opportunity
In this brand new role as our Content Marketing Specialist, you'll own the content strategy that supports our product-led growth motion. You'll create (or collaborate with external writers to create) compelling content that educates and engages SMEs in the legal and accounting sectors, driving organic traffic and supporting user activation through strategic content placement throughout the customer journey. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with our product-led growth objectives
- Create high-quality, SEO-optimised content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and product documentation
- Own the editorial calendar and content roadmap, ensuring alignment with product launches and marketing campaigns
- Craft engaging onsite copy, product tutorials, help articles, and educational content that supports user onboarding and activation
- Craft relevant events collateral and presentations
SEO & Distribution
- Drive organic growth through SEO-focused content creation and optimisation
- Identify keyword opportunities and content gaps through regular competitive analysis
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to distribute content across various channels including paid channels, as well as sponsorship and events
- Optimise existing content based on performance metrics and user engagement data
Analytics & Performance
- Track and report on content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion)
- Use data insights to optimise content strategy and demonstrate ROI
- Monitor industry trends and adjust content strategy accordingly
- Analyse user behaviour to identify content opportunities throughout the customer journey
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Product-led Growth Lead to align content with product strategy
- Collaborate with product teams to translate technical features into compelling content
- Partner with design team to create engaging visual content
- Support sales enablement through creation of relevant content assets
What You'll Bring
Experience & Expertise
- Solid content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of driving organic growth through content
- Background in creating product-focused content and documentation
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing best practices
- Experience with content management systems and SEO tools
- Data-driven approach to content strategy and optimization
- Understanding of B2B customer journey and content mapping
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
