Now, with Australia’s Tranche 2 laws about to reshape the legal industry, we’re looking for an Account Executive to lead our expansion into the legal sector.
What Makes This Role Unique?- You’ll be the first and lead Account Executive focused on the legal market, meaning you get the best accounts and highest-value opportunities.
- You won’t have to build a prospect list from scratch—we’ve already identified 500+ top law firms that will benefit most from our solution.
- Full-cycle sales role. You’ll manage the entire process, from prospecting to closing deals (no account management).
- Office-based with flexibility. You’ll work from our Sydney office three or four days per week, but also have opportunities to attend key industry events, conferences, and in-person meetings when needed to win business.
- Engage and educate law firms across Australia on their new AML obligations and how APLYiD makes compliance simple.
- Run a structured, consultative sales process, moving deals from outreach to close.
- Represent APLYiD at select industry events and client meetings, building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Use our pre-built list of high-value law firms to efficiently target the best opportunities.
- Work with our partners (Practice management systems, AML consultants etc) to create and close opportunities.
- Focus on and a consistent stream of deals - this is not an enterprise role with only a few deals per year.
- Proven B2B sales experience selling to law firms in Australia (this is essential).
- A strong track record of closing new business and consistently hitting targets.
- Experience in ID verification, AML, or compliance technology is a bonus but not required.
- A strategic, relationship-driven approach to sales—you understand how law firms operate and how to sell into regulated industries.
