On 1 July, Australia’s Tranche 2 Anti Money Laundering laws take effect, requiring tens of thousands of law firms, real estate agencies, and accounting firms to implement AML compliance for the first time. This is not optional. Firms must comply, and many are doing this for the first time ever.

APLYiD has been operating in Australia for some time and already supports Australian customers across these sectors. With demand accelerating rapidly ahead of the July deadline, we are growing the local team to keep up.

We are hiring a Customer Success Manager in Australia to help onboard and support a growing number of SME customers and play a key role in scaling how Customer Success operates locally.

Founded in 2018, APLYiD launched when AML regulations were introduced in New Zealand and quickly became a leading AML provider for professional services firms. Today, we work with customers across legal, real estate, and accounting in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Our SaaS platform helps firms onboard clients faster while staying compliant with AML laws. It is simple to use, quick to implement, and built for real world workflows. Customer feedback has been consistently strong, particularly around ease of onboarding and day to day usability.

We already have established Customer Success teams in New Zealand and the UK, with proven onboarding and adoption playbooks. This role brings that experience onshore and adapts it for the Australian market.

What makes this role exciting?

  • You will be the first Customer Success hire in Australia, not building from scratch but working from proven CS playbooks used in NZ and the UK, and then adapting them for AU.
  • The focus is high volume onboarding and adoption, not heavy renewals, long QBR cycles, or complex negotiation.
  • Most customers are first time buyers of AML software and need guidance, education, and confidence more than account management.
  • Renewals are simple, most customers are on credit card plans that auto roll over.
  • You will work closely with the AU GM and collaborate daily with CS leaders in NZ
  • As the Australian customer base grows, there is a clear path to taking on more responsibility and helping lead the AU CS team.

This is a role with real scope, but also strong support and structure around you.

What you will do

  • Onboard and configure new Australian customers across legal, real estate, and accounting.
  • Run short, practical onboarding sessions to get customers live quickly.
  • Train users and administrators on AML workflows and best practice.
  • Help customers reach first value and adopt the platform confidently.
  • Use existing CS playbooks and improve them for Australian use cases.
  • Identify opportunities for customers to expand usage as they grow.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Channel teams.
  • Share customer insights back into the business.

You will see the impact of your work quickly and often.

What you will bring

  • Two to four years experience in Customer Success (ideally SaaS).
  • Experience supporting and growing a portfolio of customers.
  • Comfort working with lots of SME customers rather than a small number of enterprise accounts.
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, customer focused mindset.
  • The ability to take ownership while still learning from established processes.
  • Hunger to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility over time.

AML or compliance experience is not required - we will teach you. Experience in CS roles in the legal and/or real estate sector is a bonus.
