Your Role & Responsibilities:
Client Ownership
Manage a defined portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and excellence in financial reporting.
Build strong client relationships and communicate financial insights with confidence.
Lead client calls, update forecasts in real-time, and track action items.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packs across a varied portfolio of clients.
Update key metrics, provide meaningful insight and commentary, and identify key risk areas to the CFO.
Support Finance Assistants in reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Look beyond day-to-day operations to identify and solve problems proactively.
Leadership & Coaching
Mentor and coach junior team members, including Finance Assistants and Management Accountants.
Develop training materials and share expertise within the team.
Strategic Process Improvement
Collaborate with the Head of Management Accounting to drive efficiencies in financial processes.
Lead innovations and improvements to optimize team performance.
Act autonomously, demonstrating an ownership mindset and taking full accountability for tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in creating monthly management reports with financial commentary.
Proven ability to own client relationships, providing clear and confident financial insights.
Experience in high-growth businesses (preferred but not required).
Curiosity and passion for supporting Kiwi businesses striving to succeed.
Ability to context-switch between multiple clients effectively.
Interest in working for and contributing to a highly connected, high-performing team.
An interest in the startup ecosystem.
