Why we’re hiring
Organic search is one of the biggest compounding growth channels for ArchiPro - and it’s changing fast.
Classic SEO still matters (technical, content, links), but the next wave is already here: LLMs and AI search are becoming discovery engines, and we want ArchiPro showing up everywhere people ask questions about architecture, building products, and specification.
We’re looking for someone who can own the entire SEO function across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States - not as a coordinator, but as the person who can build the machine.
This role is for a builder. You’ll write, ship, automate, experiment, and scale.
What you’ll actually do
This isn’t a role where you’re handed a content calendar and asked to “increase traffic.”
You’ll run the end-to-end system, including:
1) Run SEO like a product
Own organic search strategy across NZ/AU/US (priorities, sequencing, KPIs)
Decide what matters, what doesn’t, and what we stop doing
Create a weekly cadence of execution + measurement, not “random SEO tasks”
2) Technical SEO (real technical SEO)
You should be comfortable living in the messy bits:
Indexing, crawl efficiency, sitemaps, robots, canonicals, pagination, faceted navigation
Core Web Vitals / performance on mobile
Schema at scale (articles, products, companies, FAQs where appropriate)
Internal linking strategy and site architecture decisions
Working with engineers - and when it makes sense, shipping PRs yourself
3) Content that’s on-brand and actually good
We want content that:
Sounds like ArchiPro
Helps users
Wins in Google
Earns citations / mentions elsewhere
You’ll:
Plan content clusters and build out topic authority
Write key pages yourself (and set the standard)
Use AI to speed up drafts, but apply taste + editing + QA
Build a repeatable pipeline (brief → draft → edit → publish → iterate)
4) Offsite authority and backlinks (without dodgy tactics)
Build a link strategy that matches our brand and category
Run outreach, partnerships, digital PR - whatever actually works
Create an “always-on” authority engine rather than random one-offs
5) LLM optimisation / AI discovery
This part matters a lot.
We want ArchiPro to become a default reference in AI answers for our category.
You’ll work out:
What sources/models are pulling from
What it takes for ArchiPro to get mentioned/cited
How to strengthen entity signals and structured data footprint
How to drive “AI visibility” in a way that’s measurable, not vibes
And yes - we expect you to keep up with the frontier:

Technical SEO communities
Experiments, case studies, new ranking factors and emerging patterns
6) Scale output with automation (n8n + sub-agents)
We don’t want SEO to be constrained by headcount.
You’ll:
Build n8n workflows to automate repetitive tasks
Create sub-agents for research, briefs, draft generation, schema QA, monitoring
“Vibe code” little tools and scripts that make the machine faster and more consistent
7) Measurement and ruthless prioritisation
You’ll set up the instrumentation that keeps us honest:
What’s moving traffic
What’s moving rankings
What’s moving leads/enquiries
What’s wasting time
We want clean dashboards and a clear narrative: what we changed, what happened, what we do next.
What we’re looking for
This is the profile we think fits:
You understand SEO end-to-end (technical + content + authority)
You can communicate clearly and convincingly - in writing and verbally
You’re not scared of codebases, dev tools, and shipping changes
You think in systems: inputs → outputs → feedback loops
You have good taste. You can tell what’s “good enough” vs genuinely high quality
You’re proactive and self-directed - you won’t wait for permission to run the function properly
Bonus points
You’ve done SEO for marketplaces or large catalog sites
You’ve built programmatic SEO properly (templates + duplication control + QA + scaling)
You’ve worked on multi-region SEO across different SERPs and search behaviour
You’ve already been experimenting with LLM optimisation and AI discovery
What success looks like
After a few months, we should see:
A clear SEO operating system in place (strategy → execution → measurement)
Major technical issues cleaned up (crawl/index health, performance, schema)
A content engine that actually ships high-quality pages consistently
Meaningful growth in non-brand search
Obvious traction in AI/LLM discovery for our category
