WHO WE ARE

ArchiPro is a two-sided marketplace for the architecture and building industry — operating across New Zealand, Australia, and launching in the US in June 2026. We connect architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners with the suppliers, products, and professionals they need to build and design great spaces.

We have spent 10 years building the category. We are now at an inflection point. The business is financially disciplined, the US launch is weeks away, and AI has fundamentally changed what is possible for a company like ours. We can now pursue what we have always said we wanted to build: a platform that simplifies the end-to-end building experience — at global scale.

We are not a large company. We are a focused one. And we have made a decision: ArchiPro will be a fully agentic company within 12 months. Every department. Every core workflow. That is not a goal on a slide. It is the single most important internal lever we have.

THE ROLE

You will lead ArchiPro's AI transformation — not as a consultant, not as an advisor, and not by running a program of workshops. You will do it by building.

In the first 90 days, you will embed yourself in the business, identify the highest-leverage workflows to transform, and start shipping. By the end of FY27, every department at ArchiPro will have at least one production-grade agentic workflow that you personally built or directly led the build of.

You will work directly with the CEO and alongside the CTO and engineering team. You will also work inside the business — with sales, marketing, client success, finance, and operations — to understand how work actually happens and where agents create the most leverage. This role does not exist at most companies yet. That is the point.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

Build and deploy agentic workflows across the business:

  • Design, build, and deploy multi-agent systems into real departmental workflows — sales, marketing, client success, product, finance, and operations

  • Own the full lifecycle: scoping, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and iterating

  • Work with the engineering team to integrate agents into our core product and platform —not just internal ops

  • Identify which workflows have the highest impact and sequence the transformation accordingly

Lead the transformation program:

  • Develop ArchiPro's AI transformation roadmap — what gets built, in what order, and why

  • Work with each department head to redesign their workflows around agentic capabilities

  • Define how we measure AI transformation — velocity, efficiency, output quality, cost reduction

  • Coach and upskill teams to work alongside agents, not around them

  • Ensure the transformation is cohesive across the business — not a patchwork of department-level experiments

Drive the technical strategy:

  • Own the AI tooling and infrastructure decisions — orchestration frameworks, model selection, APIs, data pipelines

  • Evaluate and implement the right stack for our scale and use cases (we are actively exploring frameworks like Paperclip and similar agentic orchestration tools)

  • Work with our CTO to ensure the engineering team itself becomes fully agentic — 3x development velocity is a specific FY27 target

  • Bring external thinking in when needed — consultants, advisors, proof-of-concept partners

WHO YOU ARE

The non-negotiables:

  • You have personally built and deployed agentic AI systems that are running in production. Not demos. Not prototypes that sat in a sandbox. Real agents doing real work.

  • You can write code. You do not need a team to build the first version of something. You ship yourself.

  • You understand multi-agent orchestration — how to design systems where agents collaborate, hand off, and self-correct.

  • You have transformed how a team or department works using AI — not just automated a task, but changed the operating model.

  • You are across the current frontier: you know what the leading models can and cannot do, where orchestration breaks down, and what the real-world deployment challenges are. This is not something you read about. It is something you have experiencEd.

What will make you stand out:

  • You are commercially minded. You build things that move business metrics, not things that are technically interesting.

  • You can communicate clearly with non-technical leaders. The CEO and department heads need to understand what you are building and why.

  • You are impatient with incrementalism. You want to change how a company works, not improve a process by 10%.

  • You have worked in or around a marketplace, SaaS, or platform business and understand how AI fits into a two-sided model.

  • You are excited by the specific opportunity of applying agentic AI to a physical industry — architecture, construction, design — where most of the work is still manual, relationship- driven, and not yet touched by AI.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING - SOME EXAMPLES

These are not the job description. These are the kinds of problems we want to solve. You will find others.

– Sales & Client Success: Agentic client success

  • An agent that monitors platform engagement across every client account, identifies at-risk clients before they churn, surfaces recommended actions, and drafts outreach — without a human having to triage a spreadsheet.

– Marketing & Advertising: Agentic advertising operations

  • An agent that reviews performance marketing results against client briefs and packages, reports on performance, and coaches our team on optimisation — connected to the Meta and Google APIs.

– Operations: Agentic supplier onboarding

  • An agent that takes a new supplier through the full onboarding flow — profile build, content review, category mapping, quality scoring — from a URL, with minimal human input.

– Engineering: Agentic development velocity

  • Working with our CTO to implement the tooling, practices, and agent-assisted workflows that get our development team to 3x output — we are already at 91% AI-written code, but velocity is still not where it needs to be.

– Product (longer term): ArchiPro Agent — the product

  • An agentic product capability inside the ArchiPro platform itself — helping architects specify products, helping homeowners navigate decisions, helping suppliers understand demand signals. This is the direction we are heading.

WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW

The honest version:

ArchiPro is at a genuine inflection point. We have 10 years of domain knowledge, a two-sided marketplace that works, and a US launch in June 2026. We are not a well-funded startup burning cash on headcount. We are a lean, focused company that has made it this far by being disciplined — and we need to be 10x more effective to compete in the US without hiring 100 people we cannot affoRd.

AI is not the answer to that problem in the abstract. Agentic AI, deployed intelligently, built by someone who knows what they are doing, is the answer. That is what this role is.

If you want to lead an AI transformation at a company that will actually give you the mandate to do it — not a company where 'transformation' means a change management programme and a few pilot projects — this is the role. You will report directly to the CEO. You will have the full backing of the board. And you will be building something that has never been built before in this industry.
