Role summary

As a Content Marketer at Caruso, your primary role will be to strengthen our brand presence and engagement within the private market fund management sector. You will focus on supporting sales efforts by creating high-value, targeted content aimed at attracting, educating, and retaining our customer base, primarily in Australia and New Zealand. As the first hire within our marketing department this role is pivotal to our company's growth and offers the opportunity for huge career progression.

What you'll do:

Develop and implement a robust content marketing strategy, taking into consideration Caruso’s business objectives, customer personas, and the specific needs of fund managers in our target markets.
Produce a variety of content types, such as blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, and videos, aimed at addressing the challenges and interests of our audience.
Utilise SEO best practices to optimize content for maximum visibility and engagement, making it easier for potential customers to find us.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring that all projects are timely, and coordinating across departments for cohesive messaging.
Coordinate with the product team to ensure that content aligns with product launches and other important milestones.
Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to create content that supports lead generation, customer onboarding, and retention strategies.
Create and manage sales collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies, to support the sales team in their outreach and customer conversion efforts. This entails closely aligning with the sales team to identify gaps and opportunities in the existing sales enablement materials.
Analyse key performance indicators like engagement rates, lead generation, and ROI to continuously refine the content strategy.
Oversee the management of external agencies, including performance, media, and PR agencies. This involves setting objectives, monitoring KPIs, and liaising between the agency and internal departments to ensure alignment with Caruso’s marketing goals.

What we're looking for:

3+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the SaaS or financial services industry.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a proven ability to create compelling narratives around technical subjects.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality.
A self-starter who takes a proactive and autonomous approach.
Experience working with designers, or working in design tools such as Figma a plus.
