Role summary

As a Content Marketer at Caruso, your primary role will be to strengthen our brand presence and engagement within the private market fund management sector. You will focus on supporting the sales team’s outbound efforts by creating high-value, targeted content and campaigns aimed at attracting, educating, and retaining our customer base, primarily in Australia and New Zealand. As the first hire within our marketing department this role is pivotal to our company's growth and offers the opportunity for huge career progression.

What you'll do:

Develop, implement, and continuously refine a robust content marketing strategy that aligns with Caruso’s business objectives, customer personas, and the specific needs of fund managers in our target markets, using key performance indicators to drive improvements.
Produce (directly and via contractors) a variety of content types, such as blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, and videos, aimed at addressing the challenges and interests of our audience.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring that all projects are timely, and coordinating across departments for cohesive messaging.
Coordinate with the product team to ensure that content aligns with product launches and other important milestones.
Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to create content that supports lead generation, customer onboarding, and retention strategies.
Create and manage sales collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies, to support the sales team in their outreach and customer conversion efforts.
Support the sales team in digital outreach efforts, including assisting in building target client lists, maintaining and updating HubSpot data, and helping to streamline processes to enhance sales efficiency and productivity.
Oversee the management of external agencies, including performance, media, and PR agencies.

What we're looking for:

3+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the SaaS or financial services industry.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a proven ability to create compelling narratives around technical subjects.
Experience utilizing large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to efficiently refine and produce high-quality content.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality.
A self-starter who takes a proactive and autonomous approach.
Someone ambitious who wants to grow with our company and take on a senior or leadership role.
Experience working with designers, or working in design tools such as Figma a plus.
