Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales efforts within

the enterprise market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully

selling to large enterprise organisations, with preferred expertise in data security and

infrastructure solutions. This role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, the ability

to engage with C-level executives, and effective management of multiple stakeholders.

While this position covers the Australian market, you will also be responsible for managing

inbound opportunities from the wider Asia-Pacific and Japan region. While initially this role

will be an individual contributor role, we are looking for an individual who can lead a team

across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic sales plan to achieve individual revenue targets and expand DataMasque’s market share within the enterprise market.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives and key resellers, to drive sales opportunities and close deals.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and field CTO to develop and identify customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities, and track progress in the CRM system.
  • Drive the development and expansion of partner relationships with resellers and system integrators to enhance market reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Be responsible for generating and driving their own pipeline of opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt strategies and offerings accordingly.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in successful enterprise sales, preferably in Data Security and/or Infrastructure Products.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of data security concepts, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
