We're on the lookout for a superstar Android Lead with plenty of hands-on experience with Kotlin. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of the Emerge Android project and build a solid team underneath you as you go.

Here’s what we’re looking for you to tackle:

Development & Architecture:

• Demonstrable use of SOLID and Clean Architecture principles in mobile development
• You write testable code and have worked on projects with proper test coverage
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
• Mentor and help team members

The qualifications you'll require:

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices
• Have worked with modern Android development frameworks and know their advantages and disadvantages
• Worked with countless RESTful APIs and know exactly how to make an app feel snappy and stateful
• You know the difference between a good and bad app experience and what actually drives this

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of Android development experience with Java/Kotlin
• Experience mentoring other developers
• Collaboration with stakeholders
• App(s) on the store and startup experience are nice to haves

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
