We're on the lookout for a superstar Intermediate Android Developer who excels in Kotlin and thrives in collaborative environments. In this role, you'll work across our two native Android fintech projects Emerge - Business Banking, and SquareOne - Youth Finance.

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of Android development experience with Java/Kotlin, including demonstrated expertise in SOLID principles and Clean Architecture implementation
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose in professional or personal projects

Technical Skills:

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and modern Android design patterns
• Expertise in RESTful API integration with a focus on performance optimisation and state management
• Strong knowledge of Android best practices and ability to create smooth, responsive user experiences
• Commitment to staying current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies

Nice to Have:

• Published apps on the Google Play Store
• Experience working in startup environments

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Our Android tech stack across our projects leverages Kotlin, utilising Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous operations. We follow the MVVM architectural pattern, implement both Compose and View-based UIs, and use Hilt for dependency injection.
