You’ll work closely with the co-founders, Board, and broader leadership team, providing insight, analysis, and advice to support sound decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Emerge’s financial strategy, planning and analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash flow management.
• Manage financial risk, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Implement company and customer-linked treasury strategies.
• Build financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with the Board and executive team, delivering clear, insightful financial reporting and advice.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Support capital management and fundraising activities.

Must haves:

• A deep understanding of finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and work with the broader team to get the job done.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
