The Role:

The Product Marketing Manager is pivotal in developing strategies and plans through to execution to convey FileInvite’s unique value proposition to its target customer. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will support our company's growth targets by deeply understanding our customer and user journey to drive high product adoption, retention, and advocacy.

Core to our product communication strategy, the Product Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders within Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Revenue Operations. You'll ensure that everything from product launches to customer nurturing is enabled with strong use of competitive intelligence, market analysis, and sales data.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing a product marketing approach designed to elevate our relationships with customers and consistently contextualise the value that we can provide to the users and businesses we partner with.
  • Conduct in-depth market, customer, and competitor research to uncover insights and identify market opportunities that inform both positioning and product development.
  • Taking ownership of product and feature launches, managing the process end-to-end from working with Product & Engineering to understanding the value proposition, to making announcements and monitoring market adoption.
  • Crafting messaging and positioning that resonate with our target audience and clearly communicate the benefits of the platform.
  • Being hands-on and understanding every aspect of our customers, using this knowledge to drive improvements in how we go to market and distribute.
  • Working across multiple channels to create a consistent storyline across content, ads, and sales materials.
  • Cross functionally aligning our team’s understanding of our customers and driving collaborative projects that will enable us to speak to them from pre-awareness through to expansion.
  • Driving impactful campaigns and initiatives that will move the needle.

About You

  • Previously demonstrated 2+ years experience in a product marketing focused role
  • Experience working in international markets with distributed teams
  • Exceptional project management skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate impactful information and influence key stakeholders
  • Self starter and self manager who can work well collaboratively to deliver on promises, prioritise assignments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Big picture thinker with the ability to translate complex technology into simple terms
  • Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
