About the role

Foxglove is the leading data and observability platform for physical AI. Our software is used by thousands of robotics engineers, product managers, and operators, and we're rapidly scaling. Our commercial product helps companies get robots to market faster, by organizing their data and streamlining collaboration.

We're looking for our first Growth TLM to lead and grow our engineering efforts focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will involve both technical leadership and management responsibilities, working closely with product, design, and marketing teams to drive key growth initiatives.

As our Growth TLM, you will:

• Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and optimize features that drive user growth and engagement.

• Define and implement technical strategies for testing, experimentation, and data-driven product development.

• Collaborate with product managers to identify growth opportunities and translate them into technical requirements.

• Mentor and grow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous iteration.

• Contribute to the overall product roadmap and strategy, ensuring growth initiatives align with company goals.

Location

We're a small, hybrid remote company, with staff in the U.S. and Australia. We meet daily to connect socially, brainstorm, and share progress.

This role is onsite in our San Francisco office, but we are open to remote for highly experienced candidates with prior experience at a leading robotics or autonomous vehicle company.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years experience in software engineering roles, with a focus on growth or product engineering.

• 3+ years experience in a technical lead or management role.

• Experience working in complex web applications (preferably with TypeScript).

• Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

• Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation Range: $200K - $265K
