About the role
As a production intern, you will support the production and supply chain team in repeatedly building our hardware at scale. In this role, you will get exposure to new product introduction and mass manufacturing of bleeding-edge hardware.
This internship will run from the 18th of November 2024 through to the 28th of February 2025. It will be full-time 40 hours a week over this period.

What your day could look like

  • Creating specifications for jigs and fixtures.
  • Supporting the building, assembling and testing of prototype hardware, jigs and fixtures.
  • Using test data to calculate statistical process control limits.
  • Supporting production validation activities.
  • Diving into production data to proactively identify low-performing production processes and material issues.
  • Entering data and maintaining Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
  • Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembling and testing hardware.
  • Writing technical specifications for custom components following instructions from hardware engineers.
  • General assistance of hardware team members and other activities from time to time.
