About the role
We are looking for a world-class marketer to lead our brand and regional marketing teams on a 12-month fixed term contract, while our current leader is on parental leave. If you like to lead by example, work collaboratively, and take a practical approach to brand building - this is the role for you.

The ideal candidate for this contract has experience in global brands, has worked with regional marketing teams, and has led marketing teams in a scale-up company. Agricultural experience is a bonus. While this is a senior role with a strategic focus, we’re an agile team with a dynamic culture. As such, the right person is just as excited about executing as they are about setting the ideas. You will be able to transcend from high-level ambitions to detailed planning easily, and won’t have a problem with getting out on a farm or working the floor at events. We’re looking for a leader who goes beyond the big idea, to dive into execution, testing if it is working, re-adjusting based on results, and always looking for improvements.
You will work closely with our VP Marketing and Growth, Performance Marketing and Product Marketing Leads, as well as your marketing leaders in each region. This role manages 3 regional marketers, 1 Brand manager and 1 Designer, based across all three of our markets. We are looking for someone that can bridge being a do-er, with being a player-coach.

What your day could look like

  • Leading global brand and regional marketing strategy: You will develop and execute a scalable GTM brand strategy for international markets, aligning brand positioning with local insights and global growth objectives. You will be constantly analysing market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to refine the strategy. But you won’t stop there, you know a strategy is only as good as its execution, and you’ll run quick, data-based sprints to test hypotheses and improve our outputs - making sure that the Halter brand experience is constantly improving.
  • Managing a team of brand specialists and regional marketers. Our regional marketing teams constantly work to bring our brand to life, creating reach and delivering leads. This role is key to ensuring that regional teams are supported by our global creative team, are achieving their results and that we are delivering quality work in all regions.
  • Ensure regional marketing teams are on track to achieve commercial targets (inbound and outbound leads and conversion through the funnel): While this is a collaboration with the Performance Marketing function, as the leader of regional marketing, you will need to keep a close eye on commercial metrics, ensuring that the teams are using data to make decisions and constantly striving for market growth. Alongside tracking targets, you will also be working closely with regional marketing leaders on their budgeting, to ensure that we are spending the right amount, in the right areas.
  • Implementing brand initiatives across Halter: We are looking for someone that is as excited about execution, as they are about strategy. While you are responsible for setting the global strategy, you will also be working with the team on brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints, making sure we are always building trust and connection with our audience. You will work with our in-market teams to localise our messaging and images. In one day, you’ll move from a brainstorming session with Senior Leaders on key events, to jumping into the creative processes for branding assets, including logos, packaging and advertising materials.

Who are we looking for

  • 5+ years in a brand or regional marketing role, ideally for a similar high-growth business.
  • Experience leading a team, and helping to coach and mentor the wider team on brand marketing.
  • Proven track record of scaling brand in multiple regions.
  • Proven track record delivering impactful and successful end-to-end marketing campaigns.
  • A data-driven approach to marketing with demonstrable experience gathering, analysing and leveraging data to adapt strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to generate, or drive the generation of, compelling content.
  • Experience leveraging both online and offline marketing channels.
  • Experience working cross-functionally.
  • High degree of ownership and ability to thrive in a demanding and dynamic startup atmosphere
  • Experience working in a fast-paced tech startup environment is advantageous.
