Ideally is a consumer insights platform that enables brand, product, campaign and innovation ideas to be quickly tested with consumers & iterated on - bringing the voice of the consumer in early to build confidence and momentum in ideas. With Ideally, more people can access insights more often – enabling a new mindset for brands and innovation teams. Underpinning this is some clever tech, research playbooks and data.
We’re working with an epic group of talented brand marketers, product innovators and brilliant creative agencies. And some of the most revered people in the industry believe in what we are doing and are willing to talk about it.
The role:
We’re looking for someone to help us write our playbook on content. To own Ideally’s content strategy, brand voice and how we show up with storytelling in the marketing & advertising community. In this role you will...
- Own Ideally’s words: execute our brand voice, writing style and brand tone of voice
- Chart our content strategy: define where we show up, what we say and how we say it across multiple channels and content types (social content, website content, thought leadership, data stories, customers stories and more)
- Flex between formats: craft a variety of written content.. from conversational - to short, sharp & witty - to longer narrative writing.
- Stitch together our best stories: collaborate cross functionally to uncover the best data, product and customer stories - supporting sales, customer and product teams with content writing.
- Investigate the industry: uncover the trends, discussions, and debates to put Ideally at the heart of the conversation.
Skills & qualifications:
- Strong editorial and copywriting skills are a must
- Degree and/or 5-7 years experience in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, publishing or related field.
- Background in sass or b2b content marketing role preferred
- Ability to create high-quality, engaging (+ SEO-friendly) content across digital and print platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) to implement content at scale
- Knowledge of content marketing trends, audience segmentation and persona development.
- Familiarity with content distribution and amplification strategies, including social media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
