Job Title: Ops and GTM Lead
Preferred location: Wellington, New Zealand. But please don’t let the location get in the way of reaching out.
Salary range: NZ$90-$130k+ depending on experience. Exceptions on a case-by-case basis and determined relative to open compensation standards. Happy to discuss what that would look like for you specifically during our interview process.
Equity: Included in addition to salary
The role
We’re recruiting a smart, ambitious person keen for a 1-2 year tour of duty, wearing multiple hats before being given a function to lead. You'll help lead go-to-market in ANZ and drive customer engagement. This is your role to shape (within the broad bounds of 'doing whatever it takes to help Marloo grow in ANZ').
What you'll do:
Strong generalist: Juggle multiple different workloads requiring different skills (could range from calling customers to analysing unit economics). Know what to prioritise without being told. Do it all with speed, energy and excitement.
GTM: Support scaling our reach to new customers. Outreach, demos and creative ways of building momentum (like running events with customers or prospects). You will have lots of flexibility here.
Customer intelligence: Understanding the customer environment and situation and what ultimately makes them purchase from us. Understanding the rest of their technology stack and discovering opportunities for Marloo to maximise.
Product development: Validating and further testing ideas that come from customer intelligence. Helping shape those insights into product development initiatives.
Customer success: Leading customer success and engagement. Making sure our customers are having the best possible experience with Marloo, whatever it takes. This could include flying to spend a day with customers and showing them how a new feature works.
General pitching in: We're building a team of highly empowered doers. Everyone pitches in on the random tasks that pop up along the way.
You're a fit if:
You're comfortable with high ownership and responsibility

You can clearly empathise with financial advisers and communicate the value of Marloo
You don't need to be experienced in financial services, but some understanding of the industry would be helpful
You want to eventually shape your own role and journey
Willing to prioritise in-person collaboration. Also able to travel internationally as needed
