About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to streamline and enhance our internal operations, supporting both day-to-day functions.
Based in our office on Karangahape Road in Auckland, New Zealand, with the option to work remotely for three days a week. We find it’s important to have time for face-to-face communication, while also allowing some days to work from home, if one wants.

Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement:
Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
Oversee the office's general operations to provide a safe, clean and healthy workspace.
Legal and Financial:
Alongside the CEO, manage the relationship with our legal team and vCFO, leading major projects where needed.
Alongside Oxygen Advisors, execute payroll, transaction reconciliation and bill payments.
Team Involvement:
Initiates team activities, including outings, parties and photography education.
Alongside the CEO, drive leadership training and learning for Narrative’s leaders.
Ensures the delivery of team capabilities such as leave tracking and onboarding of new staff.
Operational Strategy and Planning:
Identify process improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and maintain Narrative’s internal wiki.
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals.
Oversee operational budgets, forecasts, and ongoing subscriptions.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning and execution of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth project delivery on cross-functional projects.
