About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to shape how Narrative is understood by the world.
This is a rare opportunity to join a company at a genuine inflection point. Narrative has grown 100% in the last 6months and we are rapidly scaling our Marketing spend to partner our growth. We have strong signals across multiple growth channels and increasing global adoption. You’ll be joining at a moment where the foundations are strong and the next chapter is about amplifying what’s already resonating.
Today 95% of photographers sill do not use AI in their culling workflow. Narrative is an early mover in the establishment of a new category. You won’t just lead marketing, you’ll help define how an entire category is understood.
You’ll be responsible for how Narrative is positioned in this evolving market, for driving the core marketing strategy and helping lead the future of the photographers workflow. This role sits on the executive team and reports directly to the CEO, contributing to broader company direction, not just marketing outcomes.
Marketing at Narrative sits at the intersection of storytelling, systems thinking, and customer understanding. You’ll help translate what we’re building into ideas people can understand, believe in, and share, while ensuring how we grow remains coherent and intentional.
You’ll inherit a strong and evolving foundation. Today, the marketing function includes a team of five spanning both in-house talent and specialist contractors, with flexibility designed for leverage at this stage of growth. Expect your team to continue to grow this year as we rapidly scale. You’ll have the opportunity to evolve this structure over time and shape the function as Narrative scales globally.
You’ll have real ownership, meaningful resources, and the freedom to scale what works. We invest heavily in marketing and are happy to double down on high-confidence channels while maintaining space for experimentation.
This is a player-coach role. You’ll set direction and build the function while staying close enough to the work to shape it meaningfully.

About You
You think in systems rather than channels and care deeply about how ideas take shape in the world.
You’re comfortable working in evolving spaces and enjoy bringing clarity where things are still forming. You combine thoughtful strategic thinking with a bias toward progress and are energised by building something that continues to grow and evolve.
You care about craft as much as outcomes. You form clear opinions while staying open and curious, and you’re motivated by meaningful problems and the people they impact.
You’re energised by ownership and the opportunity to shape how a company grows, not just optimise within an existing structure.
You’ll likely bring:
Experience leading marketing in a high-growth or product-led environment
Strong intuition for both brand and growth systems
A track record of shaping positioning and company narrative
Experience building or scaling marketing teams
Comfort moving between strategy and execution
Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product and Engineering
