Role Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Facilities Technician to join OpenStar Technologies. As part of the OpenStar Engineering Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the scientists and engineers who are developing the world’s first HTS Levitated Dipole fusion reactor.

The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder, with basic building skills, a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and thrive in a busy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for working with our facilities team across a broad range of tasks, maintaining our office, laboratory and workshop spaces. This role also involves helping with purchasing, health and safety and liaising with staff across the business.

Must have:

Full drivers licence

Basic computer skills

The ability to take on a range of different technical tasks

Good time management

Eye for detail

Nice to have:
Basic building skills

Basic electrical knowledge

Basic plumbing knowledge

Painting and plastering experience
