What is this role

As the Lead UXUI Designer, you will be responsible for designing an engaging and intuitive user experience and interface. You will have the opportunity to own the end-to-end look and feel of Quashed. Your day-to-day will be working closely with a small and highly capable team to understand user requirements and translating them into user-centered designs. This is a 3-6 months contract role that could become permanent.

Who we're looking for

• Proven experience as a UXUI Designer (min. 5+ years experience)
• Demonstrable portfolio of UXUI design projects
• Highly capable in designing on Figma
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Knowledge of user research and usability testing methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Works independently & efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Eye for detail & able to create effective design that support product goals
• Experience designing for mobile & web apps (eCommerce or Marketplace ideal)
• Skilled in using mixpanel and Fullstory or similar tools to understand user behaviour
• Takes ownership of design system

We're after an individual that will take charge and lead the design work stream. We're based on the North Shore in Auckland (Rosedale) and have a hybrid work culture (i.e. 3 days in the office).
