What is this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Intermediate Frontend Developer at Quashed. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge web applications that drive our business forward. As a full-time position based in Albany, Auckland, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and enhancing our digital presence.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces
• Implementing complex user interactions and animations using the latest frontend technologies
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring seamless user experiences
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our codebase
• Participating in code reviews, software architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of our frontend technology stack

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of React hands-on experience in frontend web development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
• Experience with responsive design, browser compatibility, and cross-browser development
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
