Your Role

We are on the lookout for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our London team for a fixed term 12-month maternity cover to help us continue to build a world-class organisation. This role is critical in driving and instilling strong leadership behaviors across the business, ensuring that our global People strategy is effectively localized and executed. This role reports to the VP of People & Culture (NZ time zone), making you the sole P&C member in the UK. Autonomy and decision-making without same-time-zone support are essential.

  • Partner with and coach leaders to execute their people plans, drive high performance, and support business growth.
  • Act with a Business Owner Mindset, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and global business strategy.
  • Execute and deliver global performance, talent, and succession planning processes in a locally relevant way.
  • Manage all ER and legal issues in consultation with the VP of People & Culture.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture Director to drive talent acquisition efforts in the market and support leaders in recruiting the right people for our business.
  • Develop scalable methods to service operational business needs.
  • Project manage internal events, initiatives, and rewards to drive engagement in alignment with the global team.
  • Support global People & Culture projects while ensuring local execution and relevance.
  • Be a key representative of the People & Culture team in the region, enabling and accelerating business growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a startup or fast-growth environment.
  • Experience in a commercial organisation, with a strong understanding of business needs and people strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality coaching and HR initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
  • Proven experience executing on a global strategy in a localised approach
