What you’ll do:

As a Senior Hardware Engineer at Red Phase, your pivotal role involves a variety of specialised tasks and responsibilities, including:

1. Hardware Design & Development:

• Lead in creating advanced hardware platforms for EV charging and power electronics.
• Innovate in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) transformer systems to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.

2. Compliance & Testing:

• Align products with international standards like CE & UL.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into product designs.

3. Technical Problem-Solving:

• Navigate and resolve complex challenges in power electronics using innovative solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in clean energy to boost system performance and sustainability.

4. Project Management & Mentorship:

• Oversee the lifecycle of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster professional growth and development.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Meticulously document all design processes and modifications.
• Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports to management and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in hardware design and development, focusing on EV charging systems, power systems, and power electronics.
• Your expertise in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems is strong and well-developed.
• You're experienced with product compliance and safety standards, such as CE and UL.
• You possess strong skills in project management, leadership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
