What you’ll be working on:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on managing and strengthening relationships with our existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing success with our platform. With our company expanding, maintaining a robust connection with our current customer base is a top priority, and you will be instrumental in driving client retention, renewals, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with existing clients through consistent communication, check-ins, and tailored support.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional features, services, or subscription tiers to meet clients’ evolving needs.
- Oversee the subscription renewal process, ensuring timely renewals and proactively addressing any barriers to retention.
- Support new clients during onboarding, collaborating with the team to provide training and guidance for effective platform use.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and concerns, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Bridge communication between clients and our product team, relaying actionable feedback to enhance our solutions.
- Track account health, usage metrics, and engagement data to spot at-risk accounts and implement strategies to maintain satisfaction.
- Keep detailed and organised records of client interactions, account progress, and opportunities using our CRM system.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Solid knowledge of the real estate industry, particularly the needs and challenges of real estate agencies in New Zealand.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and fostering client trust.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
- Sales-oriented mindset with experience in spotting and seizing upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Technical proficiency to understand and explain our software solutions in a clear, approachable way.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to address client challenges with confidence and care.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will take precedence.
