Fully remote work across New Zealand is available for strong candidates.The RoleWe are seeking a Front-end engineer (full-time), who fluent in React and Typescript, to join our growing tech team and help us turn designs into reality.You'll play a vital role in transforming high fidelity designs into polished, production ready React interfaces across our core web applications. collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bring intuitive, delightful, and performant user experiences to life, while also integrating the frontend into our back-end applications.We are a passionate and committed team, looking for a like-minded individual to join us. If you think you’re we are a great match, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities- Implement frontend components and applications using React.js- Translate wireframes and designs into high-quality code- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility- Optimize components for maximum performance across various platforms- Integrate RESTful APIs endpoints into the UI- Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code coverage- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge, and uphold best practices- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product owners to deliver seamless user experiencesQualifications/Skills- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles- Experience with state management tools (e.g., Redux)- Familiarity with React Hooks, functional components, and component lifecycle- Comfortable working with REST APIs- Experience with version control (Git)- Understanding of performance optimization- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills- Excellent communication and collaboration skillsPersonal Attributes- Strong enthusiasm for software quality and a keen attention to detail.- Familiarity with manual testing processes and tools.- Excellent problem-solving skills.- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
