We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help revolutionize the accessibility of health data for partners and pharmacies. This role involves working on cutting-edge healthcare data standards such as NCPDP, FHIR, and HL7. By ensuring smoother data integration and sharing, you’ll directly contribute to making healthcare more efficient and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based services that adhere to healthcare data standards.
- Design and implement solutions that make health data more accessible and actionable for partners and pharmacies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security protocols in all solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
- Continuously improve code quality, test coverage, and deployment processes.
- Stay updated on advancements in healthcare data standards like NCPDP, FHIR, and HL7.
Skills & Requirements
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience with expertise in cloud-based service development.
- Strong programming skills in Go and Python, with a focus on robust, maintainable code.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React or others) is a plus.
- Proven ability to navigate complex, ambiguous project requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience working directly with healthcare clients or systems.
- Knowledge of NCPDP, FHIR, and HL7 standards.
- Familiarity with additional healthcare data interoperability standards.
- Previous exposure to pharmacy systems or related domains.
