We’re on the hunt for a detail-loving, customer-obsessed, problem-solving superstar to join our Auckland-based team as a Senior Settlements Specialist.

Whether you’re currently buried in bank processes, navigating legal docs in a law firm, or juggling operations in a finance company – this could be your perfect next step. Squirrel is growing fast, and we’re doing big things in the mortgage and property finance space. You’ll be right at the centre of it.

What’s the job?

You’ll be working across the full settlements process – from loan docs to discharge – making the magic happen for our customers. You’ll work closely with law firms, internal teams, and external partners to make sure everything runs like clockwork. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and genuinely enjoys sorting the chaos into order.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in loan settlements and operations – you know your way around legal docs and can spot an issue before it lands.
• You might come from a bank, finance company, or law firm – and you’re ready for something with more pace, purpose, and personality.
• A natural collaborator – you’ll work closely with law firms, our credit team, and our advisers.
• Incredible attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and a head for process.
• A customer-first mindset and a knack for solving problems before they even show up.
