The senior-level technician can work in a full-time capacity at Swyft’s operational warehouse located in San Leandro. Candidate must have good communication and effective writing skills. The position requires real-time collaboration with company engineering and field operational team associates and other company departments as required. The technician’s daily activity includes general electrical and mechanical assembly of electrical components, wiring harnesses, and mechanical assemblies including sheet metal parts and assemblies. Requires performing frequent system upgrades and retrofits to Swyft technology-based dispensing systems. Position includes QC/CA of Swyft technology-based dispensing systems including testing and QC of incoming electro-mechanical systems and incoming assemblies. The technician will be responsible for writing email reports, including the resolution of technical issues for reference, identifying the source of failures, and recommending strategies to prevent their reoccurrence. Candidate may be required to travel.
Pay Range: $64,000-$108,000 annually
Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including sheet metal assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Proficient in testing, troubleshooting, assembling, and integrating printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), both in-system and out-of-system.
- Skilled in integrating electro-mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and PCBAs into top-level systems.
- Strong expertise in system troubleshooting, repair, and testing of PC and electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficient in using and operating a Digital Multimeter (voltage, current, resistance, continuity, etc.) for testing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies and systems.
- Capable of utilizing a wide range of electro-mechanical tools, including power drills, drivers, and saws.
- Extensive knowledge of global companies, with deep expertise in design and functionality for the RTR area.
- Solid understanding of intercompany and intracompany scenarios.
- Experience in integrating SAP with third-party tax software.
- Ability to participate in engineering design reviews, technical meetings, and operational reviews, and to lead multiple technical meetings as needed.
