What is research here at Tracksuit you ask?
For us, Research encompasses two parts; our Survey Team who are responsible for collecting our data, and our Insights Team who interpret it. We’re on the lookout for an Insights Lead to join our team and lead the expansion of our Research team at our New York office.
As our US Insights Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver actionable insights and drive growth strategies for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be supporting our customers to use our data to assess their brand health, but just as importantly you will be guiding our internal US Team by providing expert knowledge on best practices, methodology considerations and ensuring consistency in data collection practices across our global research operations.
This position will see you playing a pivotal role in shaping our product direction to align with the unique needs of the US market, and provides an exciting opportunity to gradually transition into a leadership position where you’ll build and guide a local insights team to execute effective in-market strategies while aligning with the global direction.
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Analysis of customer data and formulating insights to then skilfully communicate through compelling storytelling.
- Working collaboratively with our Head of Research and Insights Specialists to generate insights and 1-to-many reports.
- Propose new ways of cutting data that may be implemented in the Tracksuit dashboard and working with our Product Team to develop product improvements.
- As the Research Team grows in this market, you will take on line-management, work allocation and professional development for your team.

We’re looking for curious and driven people who love to solve problems. This role will see you being encouraged to think outside the box in order to extract as much potential as possible from our data.
This is the first research role we are launching in the US so we need a strong researcher who feels confident to work remotely from our other researchers, and support the local New York team. Even though you’re a heavy hitter, you have a logical and pragmatic mind to come up with solutions. You are also more than happy to get your hands dirty when required.
Ideal experience:
- Extensive experience in quantitative consumer research (preferably within a globally recognised research agency).
- Experience in brand health research.
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong experience in tracking methodologies.
- Proven experience in conducting research projects in the US market.
- Familiarity with secondary data sources and options available in the US market.
- Experience or a desire to be a people leader
