Do you dream of creative videos, distribution and growing an online community in your sleep? Have you got your finger on the pulse of the latest TikTok trends and memes, and have an understanding of how to hijack these moments in an authentic way (that doesn’t create Millennial cringe)?

As our Social Media Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Conceptualizing, scripting, producing and shooting short-form video and visual content for our social channels – TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Editing this content using in-app creator or video editing tools for our social platforms like Capcut. Bonus points if you know your way around a video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Launching brand-new channels and alongside the Content team, scaling the processes and strategies for how these are run (such as TikTok)
  • Monitoring, engaging, and growing our online communities through best-practice community management. This means engaging with our audience with humour and wit in the comments section, while also spotting opportunities for Tracksuit’s content and character to become part of the cultural conversation
  • Collaborating with local influencers, partners, and subject matter experts to enhance content authenticity and reach in key markets

That's the role, so who are you?

  • Video Experience is a must: This role is perfect for someone who loves to craft effective social media strategies to build brand and drive pipeline, but also comfortably can grab a camera (and jump in front of it) to create, edit, and manage content to push onto channels.
  • You’ll be skilled at creating clever, engaging narratives using both low-brow content (such as scrappy TikTok greenscreens) and high-brow content (case studies and educational product pieces) at speed. This means taking a long-form piece and slicing and dicing it to tailor it to different channels and audiences, such as TikTok, Linkedin, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • You’ll have a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking and the execution chops that will help you bring our brand identity to channels we haven’t even tapped into yet.
  • A kind, smart and genuine human who’s excited by the world of marketing who happens to be an exceptional storyteller who has a proven track record of creating highly engaged content across multiple social media platforms
  • You’ll have an understanding of cultural nuances (ideally, you have insights into both the Australian market and the US/UK markets)
  • A proficiency in data that means you can take complex information and insights and translate it into accessible and engaging content
  • A collaborative team player who’s willing to work with different stakeholders in the business to get the best results, while sharing a feedback loop of insights from social media
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 3-5 years of social media experience at a brand or major creator account (you must have video creation experience)
