The Development Manager is responsible for the technical design and execution of projects and people management of a small group of direct reports. Based on provided priorities and strategic planning activities, you will be responsible for overseeing a number of development squads, collaborating with other Development Managers on development processes and delivery velocity; and ensuring the uptime and stability of production infrastructure remains consistently best in class.

You will take a hands-on approach, leading a number of small squads within the engineering team from the front, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the team while also being involved in strategy and priority discussions. Whilst you won’t be an individual code contributor day to day, you will still be capable of understanding, reviewing and approaching code.
