Purpose of this Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer experience focused Solutions Engineer to lead technical delivery of customer implementations. The ideal candidate has experience leading the design and development of customer solutions, enjoys working with customer teams, and is a relentless “experience is everything” advocate.

This role sits within the Service Delivery team who are responsible for the successful implementation of services such as Professional Services and Managed Services.

Core Responsibilities

A Solutions Engineer at UneeQ is a fundamental part of the Service Delivery team. Each of our projects are different and the Solutions Engineer role within the context of our projects will vary depending on the complexity of the project. The Solutions Engineer will work within a project team with shared ownership for project outcomes and be directly responsible for:

- Technical execution of the implementation of a Digital Human project - this encompasses;

  • Requirements gathering from customers
  • Solution design and documentation
  • Consultation and development on front end and back end solution orchestration
  • Consultation and development on the creation of conversation and the application of Natural Language - in context of a Digital Human experience. Traditional NLP (Dialogflow, Watson, etc) - Generative AI (OpenAI GPT3/4, etc)
  • Helping customers deploy Digital Human solutions
  • End to end experience sign off

- Working with the Service Delivery team to accurately capture and support a project’s technical outcomes. This may include; documentation, integrations, front end developments, natural language processing, generative AI, hardware, networks & security, support, etc

- Ownership of technical & delivery risks to in flight projects.

In addition to working on customer projects the Solutions Engineer will:

  • Help to create and develop tools that help our team and our customers better execute on Digital Human projects & showcase our capabilities.
  • Work with the Service Delivery team to ensure our core values and brand are highly regarded. UneeQ Service Delivery teams should be world class, and positioned as market leaders in delivering our flavour of Customer Experience.
  • Drive down UneeQ’s cost of executing customer projects over time by embedding learnings into common engagement models and repeatable practices
  • Continuously upskill on the latest technologies that will help drive exceptional digital human experiences.

You’ll know you’re doing a great job when we see:

  • Evidenced customer value post implementation (i.e. case study, referenceability).
  • Repeatability and scalability of technical service delivery.
  • Proactively documenting the solution and its progress to stakeholders.
