Our mission is to give people more Time for Life® by providing exceptional robotic solutions and outstanding customer care. As the Robomate community continues to grow, we’re looking for someone to represent Robomate locally in Wellington and help deliver great experiences from first demo through to long-term support.

This role is part of our wider specialist team and combines on site demonstrations, customer experience, hands-on technical work, and sales support, all with a strong people-first focus.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Robot Solutions Specialist to join Robomate and take ownership of the Wellington region.

In this role, you will be the local face of Robomate. You will work directly with customers to demonstrate products, complete installations, provide servicing and repairs, and ensure every customer feels supported and confident in their robotic solution.

This is a varied, hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys being out and about, working with technology, and building strong relationships in their local community.

What you will be doing:

• Representing Robomate as a friendly and professional brand ambassador

• Providing tailored product demonstrations and helping customers find the right solution

• Completing high-quality installations and setting customers up for success

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing robotic products

• Responding to customer enquiries and following up with care and accuracy

• Identifying opportunities to grow relationships and support sales outcomes

• Supporting local events and sharing product knowledge

• Keeping systems and records up to date and maintaining strong product knowledge

About you

You are a people person who enjoys solving problems and delivering great customer experiences. You do not need to be a robotics expert on day one. Curiosity and the right attitude matter most, being tech savvy will definitely help!

Your key skills and qualities include:

• Experience in customer service, sales, or another customer-facing role

• A genuine, people-first mindset and strong communication skills

• A collaborative and valuable team member

• Confidence working with customers face-to-face

• Technical aptitude or hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical products, or a willingness to learn

• A practical, problem-solving approach

• Good organisation skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while staying connected to a wider team

• Flexibility to travel throughout the Wellington region

• A full New Zealand driver’s licence
