About the role

We’re on the hunt for an awesome Senior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer to join the rest of our equally awesome team here at ZeroJet. So what’s this all about, and what’s involved? Here’s a peek at what we’re looking for you to do:

  • Design, develop and validate embedded firmware for various microcontrollers and processors.
  • Design the software architecture for our future systems, with a focus on modern tools.
  • System design to include the full spectrum of control systems, user interfaces as well as wireless and mobile connectivity.
  • Build core software practices and workflows, such as test-driven development, version control systems, code reviews, etc.
  • Analyse product requirements, specifications, and performance standards to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Provide accurate time estimations for development.
  • Keep abreast of latest industry trends and technologies related to embedded systems design and development.
