About the role

This is a senior engineering role and is of strategic importance to ZeroJet. Our high-performance electric motors have made us stand out from the competition and we are now looking for an exceptional engineer that will build on our current IP to help grow our current competitive advantage.

Your role will include:

• Design and development of the ZeroJet electric motors
• Integration with electronic motor speed controllers
• Automation and process improvement of motor production
• Propose & implement new technologies across our product lines
• Analyse product requirements, specifications, and performance standards to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Work closely with our electrical and mechanical engineers as well as third parties and vendors to ensure electromagnetic/mechanical design results in a practical and reliably manufacturable product
• Hands-on construction and testing of prototypes, including on-water trials
